Welcome to MMI South Africa

MMI South Africa is the African subsidiary of Messe München. Together with the Munich-based colleagues, they are in charge of the organization of food & drink technology Africa.

In order to give you an insight into the African team of food & drink technology Africa, we prepared portraits of the colleagues:

Elaine Crewe is the CEO of MMI South Africa and is responsible for the general management of food & drink technology Africa, BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA, IFAT Africa and of course the company. Elaine joined MMI South Africa when the subsidiary opened in May 2012. During her spare time Elaine plays hockey and golf and like most South Africans loves being outdoors with family and friends.

Dain Richardson is the Sales and Marketing Manager for food & drink technology Africa and the South African representative for drinktec. Dain joined MMI South Africa in July, 2013. In her free time she enjoys football, attending events and festivals, venturing outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Wessel van der Linde is the Operations Manager for MMI South Africa. He graduated at the University of South Africa. After working in various financial positions, he entered the exhibition business in 2012. He joined MMI South Africa in 2014. He is married and has a 9 year old daughter. He enjoy playing golf and mountain biking.
