The sun shines over CBB!
What an exciting first trade fair day! After there was a little chaos during setup yesterday evening, we were very curious this morning to see what the halls would look like. We were on site at 8 a.m. after a short breakfast, and–as always in China–everything was ready on time 🙂 I was then in the
main entrance on site punctually at 9 a.m. to see the great rush of visitors, which we expected. However, no one could have expected such a rush. Our hostesses were outnumbered, and so I offered my assistance with registration as an experienced trade fair chameleon.
Together, we were able to meet the onslaught and get all people into the halls. It was nice for me that I came directly into contact with many Chinese and consequently was able to learn a bit about them. Later, I took a tour around the halls and was able to get an initial overview of the national halls. These are also superbly furnished and equipped. After a short fruity lunch (what else) with Una Hey (CBB Project Manager) and Stefanie Lorenz (CBB Project Officer), I crashed the BAU Press Conference and listened to the talk given by Dr. Pfeiffer.
That is really an interesting trade fair, but the current course of the fair is just more interesting for me at the moment. I was hardly back when I went on a tour with Benjamin Büttner (CBB PR Manager) to our international trade magazines Sachon, Fachverlag Hans Carl and hb media. All three have were very pleased to see me and also immediately signed a contract with me as a photo motif. I briefly obtained information about the last article on CBB at Sachon Verlag.
At Fachverlag Hans Carl, I tried out the beverage robot.
Really a great story that the visitors at CBB also really like a lot. At hb Media, I could finally convince myself personally how it is to sit at the wheel in the original truck of the CHINA BREW CHINA BEVERAGE China Tour.
I could almost taste the wind blast and sense the adventure.
As you can see, a really eventful day is drawing to a close. However, there is yet another highlight with the drinktec and CBB teams on the agenda tonight. We are invited to the German Reception Night and can certainly look forward to a great dinner and a drink or two. However, there will be no pictures of me. What happens at Reception Night stays at Reception Night 🙂
