The drinktec family of events — worldwide
drinktec is the flagship of a whole family of trade fairs. It has offshoots around the world, among them drink technology India (dti) in Mumbai and food & drink technology Africa (fdt) in Johannesburg. The organizer of these trade events is Messe München or its subsidiaries abroad. In the case of China Brew China Beverage (CBB) in Shanghai, Messe München and drinktec is the co-organizer, responsible for the international area, and with Brasil Brau in São Paulo, drinktec has a marketing cooperation. Also, for drinktec 2017 in Munich, a special section is being dedicated to the Milan-based SIMEI, the world´s leading international exhibition for the world of wine. But before the World´s Leading Trade Fair for the Beverage and Liquid Food Industry gets under way in Munich in 2017, all eyes in the sector will be on South Africa, China and India.
At food & drink technology Africa, taking place on September 14 and 15, 2016 in the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, you have a chance to review solutions that are specially tailored to the African market. The focus here is on innovations and new developments that offer real added value to African companies.
From Johannesburg, it´s then on to Shanghai. There, between October 11 and 14, 2016, China Brew China Beverage will be taking place for the first time at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC). The move from Beijing to Shanghai will expand this event still further, as a large proportion of the Chinese beverage manufacturers, among them the market leaders, are based in Southeast China. In addition, the infrastructure at the new venue in Shanghai is significantly better for exhibitors. With its modern and highly functional exhibition center, Shanghai represents the perfect platform for showcasing the entire process chain in beverage technology. Here, exhibitors from China and around the world can present their latest technologies live and in action, to the Asian market.
The 2016 events year for drinktec comes to a close in December with drink technology India in Mumbai, which takes place in parallel with International PackTech India and – a new addition – FoodPex India. At the Bombay Exhibition Centre between December 15 and 17, 2016, you can experience India´s most important showcase for packaging and related processes, beverage technology and liquid food, and food processing and packaging, all under one roof. This constellation of themes in a unique event platform is attracting strong interest in the beverage and food market across India. Even before this latest expansion, PackTech India and drink technology India were regarded as the No. 1 event for the sectors in India.
