drinktec at BevExpo 2016
There is a new event that the British beverage industry should have on its radar effective immediately: BevExpo. The beverage industry met at Manchester Central Convention Complex from June 15 to 16 to listen to specialist talks and learn about new things in the industry as well as to interact with it in the context of the exhibition. BevExpo is organized by the Brewing, Food & Beverage Industry Association (BFBi), which is also an important partner of drinktec.
As one of the founding partners of BevExpo 2016, drinktec of course could not be missing at the two-day event. As Deputy Project Manager of drinktec, I and my colleagues David Owen and Hannah Nottridge, who represent drinktec in the UK, were on site and experienced two exciting days. Close exchanges with industry have always been very important to drinktec, and such an event offers a great opportunity to talk with persons interested in drinktec, both exhibitors and visitors. Our drinktec stand in the main exhibitor hall always had a lot of visitors, and I would like to thank all for the many productive and stimulating conversations.
I was also very pleased by the great interest in my presentation, in which I presented news about drinktec 2017 as well as market data for the beer, wine, spirits and cider/Perry industries. It was shown once again: drinktec is a catalyst and driving force for the beverage and liquid food industry. In addition, we are a passionate partner, know the industry, know what it expects and are filled with enthusiasm for its success – and that is well received!
BevExpo 2016 was a successful premiere. It initiated a meeting place for manufacturers, suppliers and brands and provided them with the chance to obtain and share information during two days in Manchester.
