The adventures of Flowy! First Stop… South Africa!

I can tell you – organizing my first trade fair, food & drink technology Africa 2016 in Johannesburg, is so exciting!

I started my trip on the Lufthansa 747 “Siegerflieger” and I mean, me as the drinktec’s worldwide lucky charm am the only one of its kind in the world – what can go wrong anymore?

After an exciting day, there is nothing better than having a drink with friends.

My first day in South Africa started with a visit to the “Rhino & Lion Park” – I saw zebras, lions, rhinos, ostriches, a pigmy hippo, lion cubs, tiger cubs and black leopard cubs, a leopard, cheetahs and buffalos and so many more animals! And of course I had a creme soda – freakishly delicious!

What a better way to end an adventurous day, than having a beer with friends at the local pub with my team members?

After a night with not much sleep (how nervous can one Flowy be before the first day of buildup?) I arrived in the empty Hall 3 of Gallagher Convention Centre, but it was not empty for long – I set up the drinktec worldwide booth, so I can be found exactly there during the whole show!

When I was not helping in the buildup, the team and I were working hard and getting in touch with the exhibitors and visitors.
